Practice-Based Researcher · Documentary Director
Yango University · B.A. in Network and New Media

I am a practice-based researcher working at the intersection of cultural memory studies, digital humanities, and documentary imaging. Over the past three years, I have directed and written over ten audiovisual works, receiving more than ten awards at international, national, and provincial levels. My works have been featured on People’s Daily Online, Xuexi Qiangguo, and other media platforms. Grounded in the everyday life of southeastern coastal China—from vintage record shops in Quanzhou fishing villages to intergenerational family memories in Kinmen—my practice engages with endangered local cultures and intangible heritage. For me, documentary imaging is not merely a medium of expression but a method of cultural inquiry: through sustained field observation and visual storytelling, I explore the visual translation and digital dissemination of cultural heritage, seeking to build public memory for silenced communities and forgotten narratives.
